The Symphony Orchestra of India, the country’s first and only professional symphony orchestra performed at the school on February 24th 2017. Based in Mumbai, the Chamber Ensemble of the SOI, under the baton of the dynamic, young British conductor Robert Ames and featuring the brilliant and renowned violinist, Galya Bisengalieva, performed to a packed Rose Bowl. The programme featuring a selection of Western Classical compositions by Mozart, Handel and Vivaldi, held the audience spellbound through the 90 minute performance.
