Mr. Shaukat Pal Singh Sikand (718, HB) – Batch of 1980, a Dosco, true adventurer and explorer. As a National Geographic explorer, he has embarked on numerous daring expeditions, including being the first Indian trained in river rafting in the USA and having over 27 first descents to his name. In 2015, he introduced adventure racing to India and is a representative of A1 Adventure Racing. Mr. Sikand holds prominent roles in the world of rafting, serving as a member of the Board of Directors of the World Rafting Federation, President of The Asian Rafting Council, and President of The Indian Rafting Foundation. He has represented India in various World Rafting Championships and has been recognized with prestigious awards for his contributions to adventure. With his pioneering spirit, Mr. Sikand continues to push boundaries and promote adventure sports in India through his company, Markhor Adventure.
