At the end of 2012, the school celebrated its best ever set of Trinity Board Music Examination results. Over twenty-five percent of the candidates were awarded a distinction.
The school has witnessed tremendous growth in the number of boys choosing to study music at public examination levels as well as instrumentally. The Director of Music, Mrs Priya Chaturvedi said ’ I am delighted with these results. The number
of boys achieving at Grade 8 has been of particular interest to the department and also to the younger boys who are keen to push forward towards further musical success.’
Earlier in 2012, Imaan Pariat Mehta topped the North India region in his grade in classical guitar, scoring 95% in his Trinity Board Music Examination. He was invited to perform at the Toppers Concert being held on April 20th at the prestigious Teen Murti auditorium in the Nehru Memorial library complex in New Delhi.
