Record set for father and son Thar Desert Trek
Madhav Bhardwaj from Kashmir House successfuly completed his planned trek of The Great Indian Desert with satisfactory results. He covered on foot a distance of 305.17 kms in Bikaner-Jaisalmer area along the Indo-Pak Border in 9 days. His father, an Old Boy of The Doon School Man Mohan Bhardwaj accompanied him on his record breaking trip.
The existing maximum length trek in desert stands in the name of the Indian Army with 261.59 kms in 10 days in the month of February 2010.
