Rationale of ISSC
Established in 2005, the International Student Science Conference (ISSC) brings together students from around the world for a shared experience in science and culture. The primary objectives are to enhance students’ understanding of science, foster an appreciation for global scientific challenges, and facilitate the formation of friendships and networks.
The conference themes are designed to acknowledge that today’s science students are the future scientists who will confront scientific and social challenges, requiring innovative approaches to science and technology. Throughout the conference week, students will have the opportunity to visit places of scientific, industrial, and cultural significance around the host school. Additionally, a key component of each conference will be the school presentations, during which student delegates will share the findings from an experimental research investigation they have conducted.
