Bhavtegh ​Singh ​was called for Selection Trials for the Junior Indian Squad for International competitions in the Junior Men Shotgun Skeet shooting event in New Delhi from 27^th of January till 7^th of February 2018.

Based on his performance in the trials he has made it to the Indian Team. There were 2 trials (2 full competitions) where he competed with the top 12 junior shooters of India including the 2017 Indian team. He shot very well and improved his score by 11 points compared to his Nationals score (61^st NSCC Score 103/125 and Trials score of 114/125). He is now ranked 5^thamongst the top 12 and is a part of the Indian Team comprising of the top 6 shooters, also being the youngest shooter ever to achieve this. His participation for the upcoming international matches will be notified by NRAI in due course of time.
