The Doon School Model United Nations (DSMUN)

Given the globalized context that exists today and the structural conflicts that occur, the role of the UN has grown in recent times. The model UN is an academic simulation of the United Nations that aims to educate boys about current affairs, effective communications, globalization and multilateral diplomacy. Open to boys of B form and above, training sessions are run throughout the year and boys take on roles as diplomats, investigate international issues, debate, deliberate, consult and then come to a solution. Besides holding its own international conference in August every year, the School sends delegations to various MUN conferences around the world, including Harvard, Colombo, Jordan, Dubai, Seoul and China.
