The third edition of Summer At Doon started today in the Vittal Mallya Hall at 1.30 pm. The ceremony was presided over by Dr Peter McLaughlin, the Headmaster of The Doon School and the Chief Guest was Mr. Kalikesh Singh Deo an Old Boy of the school and member of Lok Sabha representing Bolangir constituency of Odisha. Also present on the occasion was his father Mr. Anang Uday Singh Deo a Rajya Sabha member and a long time cabinet member of the BJD state govt. Others present were Mrs. E. McLaughlin, Mr. Amit Bhatia of Aspire India, Mr. Philip Burret , Mr. P.K.Nair Mr. Piyush Malaviya, Mr. A.Qezilbash. The master of ceremonies was Mr. Kamal Ahuja.

This year there are 72 participants of which 46 are boys and 26 are girls from various parts of India and abroad. In fact of the 72 there are participants are from the USA, Japan and Belgium.
