The Design and Technology Centre at The Doon School helps young people to identify and nurture their skills in the field of designing and producing materials by using wood, iron and plastic. Open to D form and above, this activity teaches the boys technical drawing in two and three dimensions and encourages them to fulfil their ambitions by giving concrete shape to their dreams in the field of woodwork and metal crafts by producing the final shape. The boys learn many new processes and skills while going through the exercise of a craftsman. Safety rules are also taught to the boys and it is ensured that they are adopted, as they are an essential part of this area of craft.
