National Science Day
National Science Day in India, celebrated on February 28th, commemorates the discovery of the Raman Effect by Sir C.V. Raman in 1928. This day promotes scientific temperament, innovation, and the importance of science in daily life, with events, activities, and awards highlighting advancements and contributions in various scientific fields. This year at Doon, we collaborated with Unison World School where our boys built interesting projects such as pinhole cameras.

Dr Dhananjai Mohan led an engaging Owling Trail, unveiling the fascinating world of nocturnal creatures to our students. Witnessing Indian Grey Hornbills roost and Fruit Bats feeding were just a few of the highlights. Tracking down Spotted Owlets through their calls added to the thrill.
