Digital Literacy: LikeMyVid

Facilitated by Ms. Deepika Hopf, the “LikeMyVid” module employed a card game and discussion format to teach students about machine learning algorithms. Over 2-3 hours, students, organized into groups of five, engaged in a game focused on likes, shares, and upvotes to grasp algorithmic functions. The game was structured in three parts, each followed by discussions, fostering an interactive learning environment. Participants were prompted with reflective questions about their online presence, enhancing their digital literacy. Additionally, the module provided insights into how colleges assess students’ online activities.
